So, today I went to a movie theater with a friend of mine. When we got into the theater about 10 minutes before our movie was supposed to start. The theater was mostly empty but all the "reserved seats for handicapped people" were full. The people in the seats looked at us like they were surprised someone in a wheelchair actually ventured out to see a movie. Now, some of the people in the seats were elderly people and one set was a younger couple that had no reason to be in those seats. You know who chose to move so my friend could sit next to me in the wheelchair spot? The elderly couple while the younger couple just proceeded to stare at us. I mean they really stared my friend was about ready to ask them if they had ever seen a person in a wheelchair before. It was rather ridiculous to see grown people just staring small children I expect to do that but grown adults?
Then the lady sitting on the other side of the wheelchair spot asked me if I just had surgery and we talked for a bit. Then she asked me, "So can you walk at all?" I responded politely of course but I was thinking do you think I would be wheeling myself around in a wheelchair for the fun of it? My friend came back to sit down and the lady asked if she was my daughter. My friend is 25 I am 24 I will let you try to do math :p. Oh it twas an adventure indeed at the theater today. I really enjoyed the movie it was quite funny. Between the stupidity I encountered and the hilarious movie my sides still ache from all the laughing I did today. Humor really might be the best medicine.

OH, my goodness! That's pretty funny but sad at the same time! Sometimes I really don't understand how stupid people can be but whatever. I'm glad you got out and saw a movie!
