Yesterday, (still feels like today because I am writing this at 2 am) I learned that I can still entertain my "nephew" in my wheelchair. Many children feel really sad when they see someone they love in hurt in someway but my friend's son he saw my wheelchair as entertainment. The first thing he did was run up to me give me a big hug and crawl into my lap. He liked to go for rides with his Auntie Heather and we discovered a new game. He was constantly saying, "push?" He thought it was fun to "push" my wheelchair with me in it around the house. He is just barely tall enough to hold onto the handles. I have to help him of course but it is really cute and he enjoyed the game.
I also got to venture out of the house. It was great and I didn't even care that it was pouring down rain. I bought Mario Kart for the Wii I am excited to learn how to play. I also bought the BFG I have been wanting to buy it to re-read and have for my collection. I finished the book Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief yesterday it was a pretty good book and the movie did not follow the book very much at all. However, both were very good. I am excited to read the next book in the series. The humorous approach to Greek mythology was probably my favorite part about the book.
Only thing I regret about today? Not getting any pictures. Maybe next time!
